Ramadan; The Month of Purity






                    Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims from all over the world observe fast during sunlight hours in this holy month. It is a month of getting blessing of Allah almighty. Ramadan is a very special time of a year for Muslims. In which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and taking medicine from dawn until sunset. Ramadan is a holy month that promotes good and suppressed evil.  

         Ramadan is celebrated as the month during which Mohammed  received the initial revelations of what became the Quran the holy book for Muslims, from God. When the month of Ramadan starts the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained. Ramadan is a time to give to others this is called charity. People donate food, money, toys, clothes and lots of other things. This shows respect for god and the thought fullness of Muslims, thinking about people in need. This is sacred time for worship and concentration on the Islamic faith, rather than every day activities, but some people don't have to fast. Fast makes a Muslim disciplined and steadfast in his habits. It gives rise to a sense of compassion between rich and poor. Fasting is seen as a way to cleanse the soul and have empathy for those in the world who are hungry and less fortunate.      

          During the month of Ramadan Muslims will go through live with out all the pressure of the body during the day light. Fast begins when the first light of dawn touches the horizon and ends with the sunset. In this month rewards is 70 time more one good deed gives 70 rewards. It is not only the month of fasting, but it is also time to strive from lies and cheating, time to control yourself  from all evil acts. It is also supposed to avoid impure thoughts and bad behavior. Muslims break their daily fasts by sharing meals  with family and friends. Ramadan is a time to practice  self restraint and self reflection. Each day of Ramadan will be a fragrant night and day of prayers for holiness.


         The end of Ramadan  the whole world celebrate Eid al - Fitr.
